Our Services

We believe what sets us apart is our participative and supportive, yet non-intrusive approach to services. In todays world, compassion is often overlooked but we strive to deliver with compassion through our NDIS service ethic.

Socialisation and community participation are important for everyone. We understand that everyone has different social needs and work together with clients to encourage and facilitate meeting new friends and gaining new skills through group activities such as day trips, picnics and BBQ’s, social dinners and nights out. We also understand that sometimes participants just want to fly solo for the day and we are happy to support clients one-on-one for fun adventures and daily life activities.

At Pod we realise how empowering independence is. We strongly encourage participants to do as much for themselves as they can. We are there to support, guide and teach daily life skills where needed, such as:

In the community
– Understanding and utilising public transport
– Understanding safety within the community
– Skills development for employment opportunities
– Sourcing employment
– Developing strategies for coping with heightened emotions
– Linking participants with social opportunities
– Engaging in meaningful activities to promote positive mental health

At home
– Assistance to practice good hygiene & self care
– Support to maintain a healthy and clean living environment
– Understanding food safety and healthy meal options
– Meal planning and food preparations
– learning to budget
